WWDC 2017

    Every Year Apple continues to amaze us with its newest inventions and upgradations. Starting from the latest iPad Pro and iMac to its WatchOS and MacOS High Sierra, here are the top announcements made by Apple in WWDC 2017.

iPad Pro

The new iPad Pro would come with a 10.5” and 12.9” retina display. It is almost 20% bigger than its predecessor. Compatible with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. It comes with a 12MP f/1.8 aperture primary camera and 7MP FaceTime HD camera. Coming with the latest A10X Fusion chip and Apple’s designed ISP, it’s claimed to be 30% faster than its predecessor.  Also with the iOS 11 update that would be rolling out later this year for both iPads and iPhones. There’ll be a variety new features like drag and drop allows you to copy or move texts, files, and pictures from one app to other. Instant markup using Apple Pencil to mark import things in form of pencil or pen’s stroke. Further saving it in the form of pdf or screenshot. All this without a hassle and various other things like instant notes, inline drawing all too.


 The latest generation iMac coming in 21.5” and 27’ models. Powered by the latest 7th-gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, kicking the edge with Radeon Pro 500 Series giving spectacular graphics all at high velocity. The 21.5” comes with 4GB of dedicated VRAM along with 4K Retina Display. The 27’ variant comes with 8GB VRAM and 5K Retina Display enough for those who go even raw. The Turbo Boost technology gives more power for using those processor intensive applications. Means you can run your Logic X Pro or Visual Studio without any lag.
For storage, it comes with a 3TB of Fusion Drive. The Fusion Drive makes processes from booting OS to launching apps and transferring data more efficient and fast. And finally, VR makes its debut on iMac. Experience your VR content on your iMac with the ability to edit 360° videos and make your own 3D VR content.

Watch OS 4

An update to the Apple Watch would be coming later this year. It would have some new design and interface displaying different types of information. There are improvements in workout app with some new functions like Gymkit function. It allows the Watch to share information with gym equipment over Bluetooth. Also, there are a lot of improvements in the music app with its new designs and functions. And with the new person to person Apple Pay Payment, the Apple Watch can be used to share money with friends and colleagues.


Apple has introduced Sonos Home Entertainment Speakers or so called the Homepod. It would do same things like Echo and Home with a slight Apple touch. Like using Apple Music to stream music that you ask the speakers built-in AI Siri to play. Along with controlling your smart home devices, you can still ask all your hilarious question to Siri. in your iPhone or iPad and that for 350 bucks.
